Saying "the majority of the population" is absolutely asinine. There are individuals who do things like that, but it is not at all representative of the majority of the population. There is endemic cultural racism in many more rural areas, but it's not nearly as prevalent as you seem to believe it is.
That might be so for the erea in which you live, and it might be so that your society is chaning. But aslong as it hasn`t had a significant enought social impact to change the meaning of the word redneck, that word will still be used to describe people who are the stereotype. And that is not my fault, it is the fault of the people who behave like the stereotype.

Regions in the east especialy arround Leipzig and Dresden are collecting basisn of neo nazis. I never had a problem accepting that when it was brought forward by various people in this thread, it is the truth. But unlike other people I face that truth, whilest others here make the idiotic claim of racism no longer being a problem in the southern US. It is that lack of responsibility to face problems that I find outrageous, probably even more outrageous is to then open a thread which blames a conspiracy of black people which is out to destroy white culture, for modern day racism.
And to get back to Faith No More`s call.
1: There is no such thing as an organised black conspiracy to destroy white culture in the US.
2: With nationality comes historic responsibility and with dark chapters in history comes the responsibility to learn from those chapters.
