Actually, I remember an incident in which, growing up in Tennessee, a little black girl was mocked racially daily on the school bus and no one did anything about it. In other words, kids are cruel and will find anything to mock anyone about.

That's fucked up. I would have fired the bus driver immediately for not intervening.

But you said:

If it had been the reverse, a couple white kids telling a black girl she was ugly because she was black adults of all ethnic groups would have jumped to the rescue.
