If she's been treated for MS the docs must have told her that it is not hereditary but it is possible she does not accept that and fears passing the disease along to children?
Or, as has been suggested above, she may be suffering from a lack of self-esteem and doesn't think she is worthy. Try to be less "worthy." It may put her at ease.
