Government Has No Incentive To Prevent Crime

The government has zero- ZERO financial incentive to prevent crime, nobody in the entire government gets a cent more money if they prevent crime from happening, since they can only keep their jobs if people commit crimes and they arrest them, they actively profit off crime.

Ever wonder how the USA government keeps getting new enemies?, one after another we need more military spending.

The government works to 'cure' crime, rather than prevent or stop it all together, since that would put them out of a job. If the government has no enemies to propagandise the masses into surrendering more of their tax dollars, then they become useless. Also think about if we weren't at war, many people in the army would obviously no longer have a job, the government has MASSIVE incentives to prolong wars and create enemies.

Same with social programs, the government has massive incentive to make people poor and dependant, that way the people in the public sector keep their jobs and continue their pay roll, why would anyone in a government want to eliminate poverty when their salary depends on poverty existing?. It's no mystery why the wealth gap has increased alongside increased social welfare. Or take the war on drugs for example, if the illegal drugs became legal, so many people in the public sector would lose their jobs.

The problem is that government profits from people suffering and behaving badly, and loses money if they become wealthier and peaceful. The financial incentive of the government is in direct conflict with morality. And there is nothing anyone can do to solve this.

A lot of your threads seem to be particular centered on the US, with its rampant wingnuttery and hawkish profiteering. Unlike others, I don't think that's a conspiracy theory. Halliburton /thread.

However, you are anthropomorphizing government, as though it's a single entity with a single goal: wealth at all costs. It's not-- it's a collection of very many people with very many different ideals and goals. And in the case of the US, even the bad guys ooperate with the implicit consent of the people you think it's enslaving, abusing, or leeching off.
