The theme does need some work. He originally had one that looked strikingly similar to the one we have here, but I politely asked him to remove it 
A nice theme is very important in any forum, but in a forum that specialises in coding, it reflects badly on the entire forum content if bad CSS / HTML is used on the actual website. Currently the logo is terrible (no offense meant Darwinian, just constructive criticism); it looks like it was put together using paint...all the text is jagged at the edges with no anti-aliasing. Some of the sections are screaming for more CSS padding, and in my opinion the borders of the tables are way too thick.
