Will Islam eventually take over? Maybe. I think those of us in the US should just wait and see what happens in Europe. If Europe turns Islamist and turns into a hellhole like the Middle East we can crush Islam over here to prevent it from crossing the pond.
Crush how? The only way you can "crush" Islam is to have a nuclear war and since they have 4 billion in numbers, they would still have more left over than any other religion.
No, the only path to civility is our voices, not more war. And I am not about to take out the likes of Malala, who is on the side of the west, especially when it comes to womens rights. I am not going to disown democrat and Muslim Keith Elleson who is a UNITED STATES CONGRESSMAN, who swore in on a Koran once owned by Thomas Jefferson.
The only thing we can viably do without nuking all of humanity back into the stone age, is to set cracks into their cultures and work toward the same secularism that keeps Christianity on a leash. It wasn't that long ago that Christianity was as barbaric as the Muslim zealots are in the east.
There are atheist groups like Iranian Atheists and Syrian Atheists, while they may not be located in those countries, the people who own them and run them, have escaped and or have family and current ties to those countries.
I think you underestimate the power of media and what it is doing to change attitudes.
