There are 60 some books of the bible.

Genesis could be represented as GE, GN, GS, whatever combination that 'leaps out at you'
Exodus could be represented as EX, ED, ES, etc.
Leviticus could be LV, LT, LC, LS.

Go through the bloody 60+ books of the bible, with tons of bloody passages containing sometimes thousands of different number combinations.

And if you can't find a bloody Bible-linked inscription in any decent serial code: you are bloody blind, or extremely unlucky to have found one of the very few combinations (in comparison) that are entirely unrelated to the bible.

Hell, i'd find more links in the bloody dictionary.

It's human to find patterns where there are not... but i think that this is entirely media overblown.

It's not serial numbers. It's just an otherwise useless code on the rifle. It's not a coincidence either, the company admitted that they are bible verses and that they've been doing it for years.
