Those two should sort you out, if not just continue with a clean install from disc (back up first if you can). If it still doesn't work you can download some disc recovery software (find out the manufacturer of the hard disk and get their recovery tools, make a bootable CDROM or flash drive).

If none of that works go see Dell.
