Essentially claiming that because your belief in and experience of God is properly basic and therefore you know he exists is a claim any religious person of any religion can make and come to contradictory conclusions, throwing such a method into great doubt. Do Buddhists realize that Siddartha's teaching on dissatisfaction, suffering and the eightfold path are completely valid, and thus Buddhism is true? Or Muslims of Muhammad? Zoroastrians of their god?
