the bravado attitude concerning death is admirable in the context of 'taking-it-like-a-man', but is misplaced if upon the moment of death the 'unpardonable sin' (only committed once and is only at that moment) has been committed by the individual.

maybe some are more uncomfortable with the idea of non-existence than existence after death. It's a topic for discussion; nothing more than that i'm aware of.
