My preferred weapon would be a katana. And yes, I actually know how to use one. They're designed to kill efficiently. I would probably have to settle for an axe, as I don't actually own a katana. Firearms will eventually run out of ammo, and if the zombies are capable of hearing, then they are going to be attracted to the loud sound that firing a gun makes. Slicing and dicing is much more covert.
