The evils and calamities and hardening of hearts (and distress at not getting our own way) that God creates are NOT the same as the capital "E" Evil which exists as the ontological opposite of good on our moral compass. And which gets progressively more and more evil as our separation from God increases further and further until the point of no return - hell.

Okay, then you should have no trouble in providing biblical references for this capitalized Evil that exists as some purposeful force equal to and as old as god, as GC indicated. I'll wait.

Also, now you're just stuck, because you're positing a god that creates and fuels lower order evils, furthering the goals of the primeval Cap E force, directly contrary to god's own goals, for... what? Funsies?

Let's say I accept that there's some separate EVIL evil that's different from god- despite such a concept only showing up in your fucking imagination- so what? Now you've just made your god's agenda about a billion times more complicated and ridiculous.
