The hardest stuff I drink is coffee. If you now my background, that's not too surprising. I don't disapprove of drinking but I don't know. The thought of me drinking something that messes with my mind just grosses me out. And the smell of the stuff, yuck.
Am I missing out on anything worthwhile? Really, the only reason I myself might want to drink is to fit in better with friends.
I'm 37, within a few days of 38. I didn't even start drinking until I was about 24.
I admit, I like the taste of beer, wine, and other alcoholic beverages. And, I enjoy being drunk. However, as has been said, I think it matters what company you are in the presence of. Otherwise, there's less to laugh about when you are drunk.
Nowadays, my digestive health is fairly poor compared to those days. Ergo, I haven't consumed a full container of anything for over five years. The most I've done is take a single swig of whatever I am crockpotting with. I prefer wine for that endeavor. But it doesn't matter what color.
