Christianity is basically organized social psychopathy, both in theory and especially in practice.
Taking the name requires taking the character of what the name represents. In the cases you are speaking of, the name was taken in vain. Christianity is founded on the teachings of Jesus, which were none of those things you mention. I will agree that there are many who are self-righteous. This is the same as wickedness. It has been my experience that most Atheists come across as self-righteous and judgmental of others. It is also true that many Christians are the same. This does not imply that the name and character of Christ is the same thing. To say so is simple prejudice.

What he is talking about is Christianity as a institution. If that tornado hit in Saudi Arabia it would've been a Muslim organization the scene, if it hit in Germany a atheist organization on the scene. It just happens to be the American Midwest is like 95% christian.
