I think deep down the Iranian people know having their country being run by a Muslim cleric is not the best way to go. It would be like if supporters of Pat Robertson took over the U.S. government and all government had to bow to Pat's wishes. Yes, most people would go along with it in order to not be thrown in jail or killed, but most wouldn't like it one bit, especially when their freedoms get taken away one by one.
