People in Iran may love the USA. They weren't in love with USA when they deposed of the US puppet the Shah 
And frankly, I would take a Mullah regime in one of my neighbors against a communist regime any day of the year, I'm glad that they were put down.
Though I do in some ways, think that without a western type democracy, Iran is still far more national in spirit than many of the countries that have a western type democracy.
I do in many ways appreciate Iran for its solid stance, yet on the other hand, I have my own reasons to hope for its demise.
