Well, I think its the politics though. As for freedoms and all, Iran might not have unlimited freedoms, but it sure is a lot more national in character than my country is.
We have the freedom to drink, fornicate and don't have to wear veils, but does it really matter if we have to follow the lead of the foreigners? What good is personal freedom if your economy and the will of your country is tied to another? You cannot determine your nation's fate, but you have all the personal freedoms you want to. This isn't the right way to think.
