RE: Why Iran is hostile Israel and America?

Sorry this is off topic from Iran -- but it is relevant because it highlights the geographic military challenges that underly potential Iranian rapprochement. Its about Turkey but it gets to interdependence and why Iran may have kicked the US out but still needs the US -- and so Iran may not actually be hostile to America.
Do you think Turkey needs external capital in order to continue to grow? Doesn't a military alliance with a major outside power protect the Turkish nation from Russia, the most relevant enemy whose crazy Orthodox want to take back Constantinople? Sure you would wish to be an independent and dominant power, or even a regional hegemon -- but without global economic integration its not possible, no?

The answer to the question of this larger post on Iran is in order to keep the peace amongst its various ethnic groups with low capital base (and cut off of US + Oil Capital), it requires an external enemy.
The only way out is to invite the US back in.
