We have the freedom to drink, fornicate and don't have to wear veils, but does it really matter if we have to follow the lead of the foreigners? What good is personal freedom if your economy and the will of your country is tied to another? You cannot determine your nation's fate, but you have all the personal freedoms you want to. This isn't the right way to think.
The Iranian government do crimes against the people. We do not have freedom. we do not have Human Rights in Iran.

Now The government of Iran is the servant of the several foreign countries.
Russia,China,UAE,Turkey,England and ....
The Iranian government is oligarchy.
Each oligarch has a relationship with one country.
One's relationship with China and other with UAE and other...
Iran's relations with these countries is (lost - win) . Iran is a loser.

Do you think Turkey needs external capital in order to continue to grow? The answer to the question of this larger post on Iran is in order to keep the peace amongst its various ethnic groups with low capital base (and cut off of US + Oil Capital), it requires an external enemy.
The only way out is to invite the US back in.
