Quote:Do you think Turkey needs external capital in order to continue to grow? Doesn't a military alliance with a major outside power protect the Turkish nation from Russia, the most relevant enemy whose crazy Orthodox want to take back Constantinople? Sure you would wish to be an independent and dominant power, or even a regional hegemon -- but without global economic integration its not possible, no?I watched the video, and I think that Turkey on its own is pretty much alone in the whole region. All our neighbors share a deeply rooted dislike for us due to our imperial past. We have had hostile relations with many of our neighbors in the past, including the muslim countries of Iran and Syria, not to mention Iraq, Greece, Armenia, Russia(Previously USSR), and Iran.
Some of these countries, like Iraq, Iran, Greee and Syria have houses enemies of the State, and have supported the said insurgency within our borders, and some still do.
So, where would we turn to? Not to Europe, most certainly. Not to the Arabs either, who are unreliable. Russia on the other hand, is even less reliable, and I oppose Eurasianism as in having Russia as the overlord of other countries. What I'm for is to unite us with our brethren in the Caucasus and in Central Asia.
Given our past, we see that when we Turks were able to unite, we would archive great things. And now we are the masters of landmasses with great natural resources that everyone lays their eyes upon. Why not use these for ourselves, instead of selling them cheap to others? We should bring back the Iron discipline of Motun Shanyu and the ruthlessness of Tung Yabghu Qaghan, the knowledge of Tunyuquq and the expansionism of Chingiss Khan, and with many other heroes to serve as an example to our masses, we could create a new nation that would strive to be the superiors of others in every field.
Turkey is a single country, what can it do on its own? A single arrow shall break, but a bundle of them will not.
Quote:What you say about?!Well, I know, but I'm more concerned with the Turkish population that lives in Iran, which is why I oppose Iran.
The Iranian government do crimes against the people. We do not have freedom. we do not have Human Rights in Iran.
Quote:Now The government of Iran is the servant of the several foreign countries.IF Iran is a servant to Turkey, why is waving the Turkish flag in Iran banned?
Russia,China,UAE,Turkey,England and ....
Why does the Iranian government still refer to Azerbaijanis, Khorasan Turks and Turkmenes as "Turkicized Iranians"?
Iran is very hostile towards Turks and Turkey, which is why I see Iran as a potential enemy which we must fight in a near or distant future. With or without the assistance of the west, this fight will come to pass. Iran and Turan will clash as it was told in the poetry of Ferdowsi.
As for Russia and China, I'm sure they are quite interconnected, and Iran receives a lot of help from them. Our old enemies, side by side.
Quote:The Iranian government is oligarchy.Good to hear
Each oligarch has a relationship with one country.
One's relationship with China and other with UAE and other...
Iran's relations with these countries is (lost - win) . Iran is a loser.
