As an interesting side-note, we know that there are parts of the brain, if damaged, will strip you of your ability to comprehend numbers or letters. While other damaged parts prevent you from recognizing your family or even your own identity. Literally every part of our experience is governed by a cognitive process in our brains, and for every part that is damaged, another part of our experience is lost. Yet, theists like Enrico maintain a state of affairs in which your ENTIRE brain is dead, and yet you are able to recognize the spiritual remnants of Grandma? This shit is mind numbingly stupid.
Now you are stating that...............Insufficient evidence is a perfectly acceptable reason to reject the idea of FUCKING SOULS!
Could you tell me how would you deal with two totally different things like the body and the consciousness?
One is physical and can be perceived with the physical senses and perception the other is not physical so it require a different kind of perception.
Can you really say that with your physical perception you are able to understand what is not physical?
