No it's not ok to let him back on without a fight.
It's none of his damn business what other people do with their love lives and he should be castigated harshly for pronouncing it on nationwide media. It doesn't matter how prevalent this hurtful dogma is, we are above this bronze age phobia and we should actively repulse it whenever the opportunity strikes.

I encourage you to watch this video that switched the rolls and then think about the correct action to take over Phil's disgusting screed.
