Fair point regarding the pitching. Take for instance Wladimir Balentien. He played last in MLB for my Reds in 2009 and was less than impressive, yet last year put up .330, 130 RBI, and 60 HRs in 130 games in Japan (he never hit .300 in the minors).
For the record, there's only a soft spot in my heart for the Yankees because of Paul O'Neill.
