I don't understand why the Christians are accusing Cinjin of being close-minded.
He clearly stated that his words to his son were a response to the fact that the viewpoint was impressed upon his son by external agents rather than reached through his own inquiry. If his son wanted to become a Christian through his own volition, I doubt Cinjin would have as much of a problem with it.
