Kinda difficult to do when some of the most corrupt companies don't really do anything other than own stock in other, smaller companies. How can you buy shoes, for example, from a company you're ok with when the same scum-ball owns a lot of stock in all the shoe companies?

Its not so much to ask, is it?
Not to mention, some of them would probably actually reinvest that money back into the economy when they buy security fences for their homes, bulletproof vehicles to get around in, personal assistants to take care of errands because they're afraid to leave home and a security team to watch their house. I mean, sure, it's still a bit excessive, but at least they aren't taking that money and hoarding it in an off-shore account.
