Your right; Sex does have everything to do with biological. Gender has everything to do with psychological. Or, as I like to think of it, sex is what's between your legs and gender is what's between your ears.
Past that, what's to understand?
I'll admit, I get a little uncomfortable with gender neutral pronouns, but I think that's mostly because I'm trying so hard to get past a trans centered world and most of the mainstream world just looks at you funny if you use "zhe" or "zer" in conversation.
