That's the key. What I suspect will happen is that group mentality will take over and most people won't even think about what Nye is saying, it'll go in one ear and out the other while they think up their next jeer and grab a another fist full of rotten food to throw.
Unless people have the fortitude to sit down a second time and actually pay attention to the debate I doubt very much whether many minds will be swayed.

NYE: Wait, slow down, I can't refute all this bullcrap you're spewing at once.
HAM: Lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie.

CREATION MUSEUM: Edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit.
Sadly, this is likely.
I wish the terms, location and timing of this debate had been better thought through (i.e. not at the creation museum, after Ham's fundraising deadlines were passed, etc.)
35 minutes to tip off; to watch or not to watch, that is the question...
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
