I kinda wish he hadn't gotten thrown into the whole political/social/religious debate within our country. He was fairly innocent and neutral until he was boo'd for claiming the moon reflects light fro the sun (because he's contradicting the Bible). Since then, I'm finding him speaking out a lot more for science. I miss the days when someone could publicly be pro-science without everyone interpreting that as being anti-religion..... did we ever have a time like that?
