It's pretty obvious that many of the founding fathers were cultural "Christians," that is, their ideals were heavily interwoven with 1,500 years of Christian European thought. If they had come from the East they would brought with them Eastern philosophy. Just because they celebrated their Christian culture doesn't mean they were believers nor does it mean they weren't secularists. They also deviated from their Christian European heritage a great deal, such as in their founding the first nation that didn't rely on any particular God as the source of authority in public matters. So Drich is right (for the first time ever) to point out their love for their heritage, which was Christianitzed (by many years of authoritarian rule) and others are right to point out their secularism, on which they founded our nation.
