Sorry checking back I see you are a Canadian. That means you can work in the UK up to 2 years this is because of your commonwealth rights and it doesn't entitle you to work anywhere else in Europe unless you are also a citizen or the child of a European union citizen.
No, but what I was going to apply for is a holiday working visa, which I believe is valid in some EU countries. England is looking better and better though.
