My point is, you don't know the answer to those questions. This is because you have no way of testing it. There is no way to test for a soul. It is un-falsifiable, which makes it a useless hypothesis.
You mean testing in by the scientific method. I'm not sure if there is or isn't, but couldn't the same logic be applied to goodness/morality?
There is no way to test for goodness, therefore it's a useless hypothesis?
Does that sound reasonable?
