I would agree with that, though the sentiment is not unanimous among people who moderate.
I wouldn't call it an attack on credibility but rather a test of credibility. Let me add some more back story to this. The reason I decided to test the credibility of the admins/mods is because I complained that a particular poster was flaming me(I called it spamming in my complaint). Essentially that poster was stalking me and any time I posted He would reply with some insult and no other content. I was told that basically the posters actions were within the rules.
Apparently flaming a person is permitted because like I said, I was able to do it for a week without even a warning. I was honestly surprised at this result. I should have been sanctioned after the first day. It was only a week later after I revealed my reason that the ban hammer came down.
I read the rules on this site and you guys have a no flaming rule....which is something TTA needs to implement.
