The guy is from Texas, a notorious low IQ State. The voters there will vote for a cow chip, as long as it's a white Repub cow chip.

The state with the highest average IQ is Massachusetts at 104.3. The state with the lowest is Mississippi at 94.2.

Texas has an average that is completely average at exactly 100.0.

So why all the difference?

Well it has been well remarked upon for a very long time that certain minority groups such as hispanics and African Americans score lower on the IQ tests we use. This is often debated among experts as evidence that the tests are biased toward white culture.

From the studies I have read African Americans score lowest, Hispanics second lowest, Caucasians in the middle, Jewish and Asian the highest.

The Bell Curve (1994) stated that the average IQ of African Americans was 85, Latinos 89, whites 103, East Asians 106, and Ashkenazi Jews 113.

So, it stands to reason that the higher percentage of hispanics and african americans living in a state the lower the average IQ, correct?

Let's see.

So when someone pokes fingers at states like Mississippi for having a low average IQ score, what you are really condemning them of having are large percentages of minorities.

So in other words low IQ white voters in Texas voted for a low IQ white politician.
