I'm too old for that, but I love watching others do it. I love watching J-volggers (western folks who have settled in Japan) on YouTube, some of whom have at least shown and talked about Cosplay.
I live in San Diego. We have Comicon, and people love to dress up for that.
Sorry. No idea what would be good. I don't know any names of characters that are cosplayed. I will say I do like sailor dresses and ninja masks.
