I was kicked out of the austin manor for the mentally ill in MN last January for drug abuse. While I was there I met a Lesbian who had been severely sexually abused. She said she was one of the top volunteers for promoting same sex marriage. Did you get involved in any of those movements or gay parades?

She was a bundle of nerves, always crying and getting angry.

She is an example that what happens to us as children may never heal.

I try to get involved in activism as much as I can, not just for gay rights but for women's rights and minorities and so on. I was in the parade once with a local gay youth group, but in recent years I have become susceptible to heat exhaustion/heat strokes and I have decided that participating in a parade during an Alabama summer might not be the wisest decision.
