It's not that easy, always.
This is true Deidre, in fact it ties in with this:
Suppose two guys have expressed interest in you, one who we will call Jim Bob has bothered you and annoyed you and has been intrusive for some time and you have ignored this guy to no avail. The other who we will call Timmy has also been bothersome and annoying and intrusive and you have ignored him too. Now suppose one night you are taking a walk, trying to clear your mind and Timmy jumps out from behind a McDonald's sign and says with a smile: "Hey Deidre I knew you would be walking out here and I just wanted to tell ya that I loved ya." He then hands you a single little red rose. Finally having enough, you tell him flat out that it just aint gonna work and that you and him are just too different. You tell him to leave you alone and to never bother you again. When he hears this, he tries to hide the hurt inside and for the most part, he does well, you see, he has been rejected before. But before he turns to leave, he says once again that he loves you and as he says this you notice a little tear fall from his eye. He turns and leaves you standing there with the little red rose.
Now suppose several nights later you are taking the same walk and Jim Bob jumps out from behind a Burger King sign (the Burger King is one block away from the McDonalds) and grabs you and says: "Look here now little lady, yer gonna be with me and love me whether you like it or not!" He then wrestles with you and manages to drag you to an alley and he rapes you.
Which one of the two men would you say really loved you Deidre? Timmy or Jim Bob?
You do not have to answer that on here if you do not want. It is just something I wanted you to think about.
