Something weird about what you said. The vast majority of Muslims I encounter claim that I could never be a Muslim if I left the religion. They will strong profess that anybody who is a true Muslim loves Islam because it is a religion of peace and the truth. The irony though is that the very same people who say this will say otherwise amongst other Muslims. Such a two faced group if you ask me.
Also I am even worse than an apostate. I am a Wathani(pre-Islamic pagan) who professes that not only is Islam not even peaceful but it is a pagan reformation. I honestly believe that the theology that came before Islam is far better. Islam is to Arab paganism what Windows Vista is to XP
