Same thing for Christianity. The Jews had no concept of Hell and the idea of an intercessor like the Christian idea of Jesus is blasphemous to the god of the Old Testament. These things came from pagan sources.

Religion is like any other part of culture in that it absorbs traditions from neighbors or anything else it's exposed to. Evangelical faiths like Christianity or Islam that seek to acquire followers from all over the world will absorb the traditions of others. It makes their conversion easier.

Take for examples al-Ayah l-Shatayniyah(The Satanic Verse). These verses are deemed mutawatir(reliable and accurate) and are danced around by Muslims so much that they have reconstructed false ahadith to avoid it. Muhammad without a doubt used pagan additions to Islam after constructing the entire thing from paganism itself.

If you are like me and understand ahadith and know how to sort through them you will find so many references of paganism. Allahu Akbar is a famous phrase by Muslims for example and it means "God is Greater". The question is, who is Allah greater than?
al-Qur'an is repetitive and makes it very clear that Islam is henotheistic and specifically makes mention that other gods exist but only Allah is to be worshiped. By doing this Muhammad is not saying that the pagan gods are fake but that Allah is better than them. So it is the "my god is better than your god" argument.

Pagans danced naked around the fuckin' Kaaba for crying out loud and this is mentioned in a mutawatir hadith as well. Islam is pagan alright so I would reccommend any Muslims to either be an atheist, deist or role back to pre-Islamic paganism which was surprisingly better.
