If you are saying that God is a demiurge as spoken of in the gnostic tradition, I wouldn't trust him with anything that has to do with morals at all.
What do you mean, 'if' it is a demiurge, by the way?
Either God is the demiurge in this hypothetical scenario, or he isn't.
