Is that opinion flawed?
Yes, that opinion is flawed.
If the state has the right to be concerned with the welfare of your children because they are human beings then the state has a right to be concerned with the welfare of your fetus....because it is also a human being. For those who say a fetus is not a human being, please open a biology text book and look under life cycle of a human being. The life cycle of a human being does not "begin" at birth. The life cycle of a human being begins at conception.

This is not a person.
The entire potentiality argument is a ridiculous leftover from Kant religious idiots keep vomiting up out of a deep seated need to control women's reproductive systems.
None of you are all that concerned what happens to ACTUAL PEOPLE, but you'll scream until you're purple about the BABY KILLINGS that AREN'T TAKING PLACE in the majority of instances.
I suggest you OPEN the biology textbooks you claim to be quoting from, and actually read it instead of parroting what you've been told back like mindless automatons.
