Sorry but the bottom line is you believe god was sitting there thinking of the best way to communicate with humanity and warn them and the answer was to tell a shepard in ancient times to recite a book in arabic.
Then for that message to get re interpreted and re translated over and over to the point where some of the followers are peaceful and some are literally hacking people to death in the streets with machetes while quoting quran verses.
And it gets to me when people say things like "well I guess god would be peaceful and wise and would do this and " How do you know what god would be like?
I've heard a woman say she converted to Islam because of reasons of feminism, not only do I think the foundation of the statement is fucking stupid but how does she know god wants women to be treated with any respect anyway?
Why does some average tom dick or harry think the almighty vastly immensely powerful creator of the universe god would conform to their views on what they think is quite nice?
