Sorry for the delay folks I had a beautiful Easter dinner with my friends and family. Jesus has risen! Purely outstanding! Perhaps I am completely naive as this is my first atheist forum, but I don't really understand the outward name calling. Is it customary on this site to make wild assertions of a persons character or purpose? Should I, in return, be as offensive to sound or appear to have more conviction? Folks, unless you haven't learned yet, just because your louder, angrier, aggressive, or treating, doesn't make you right. I've sat through too many conferences, meetings, or events to be swayed by other's agendas. No matter how passionate!

What is so promising or what is the compelling benefit a person would gain from being an atheist? Why am I inferior and you are superior?

Do you even remember that your first post here, your first post in this entire forum was nothing more than the heavy implication that the "average atheist" would endorse the rape of pre-pubescent girls in your view?

But let me point out the fact that many more atrocities are carried out in secular society, go ahead and do your diligence on public school systems, impoverished countries with rogue governments, crime ridden pockets of cartels and human trafficking, and you will find countless examples of Godless people doing much worse and on a grander scale.

No you won't: the polls tend to indicate that the prisons, at least in America, are filled with the religious. And you don't see many secular witch hunts and cults, just saying.

Am I ashamed of Churches with scandals, cover ups, and less than impressive apologies, of course. That's inexcusable. But that's not what Jesus stood for. Humans are flawed. I follow Jesus. not you, not any of you, we have proven ourselves unworthy to follow!

Jesus stood for favoring the Israelites over anyone else in the world, continuing slavery, and beating people with whips. Are you following all that, or am I going to get more nonsense about context from you?
