OK
To summarise. "The Obesity Problem" globally is down to marketing. VERY clever marketing utilising our own inbuilt needs (neuro-chemically) for what we like to eat.
Not unlike religion. The "obesity epidemic" is just a detrimental to your health as religion is. It gives you a sense of euphoria whilst you are being robbed of your $$ in dribs and drabs to fill the coffers of the select few. (read marketing and corporations and religious figures)
There is a "halal" McDonald's (and various other fast food chains are following suit) who have paid some imam/ khomeni so to sell their product to an unsuspecting population.
Really is rather sad when you think about it. All you muslims thinking that you are still 'pure' because 'you eat "halal" only' are really just as dirty as the rest of us and have your own religious leaders to thank for the pleasure.
As for "obesity epidemic" I also would like to posit that ....... IF you keep telling people that there is a world shortage of food (which clearly there is not hence the aforesaid "epidemic") then people are going to eat MORE to survive the time of famine.
So, IS there REALLY a shortage of food? Or is this another marketing ploy by the food industries to sell us products we don't really need? And so, it is also conflating the climate science that is indicating a shortage of rainfall patterns globally that will effect food crops.
VERY muddy waters here.
Check your supermarket, the usage of "super-sizing" aka "value for money" is only lip service to lift the supermarket profits.
The Food Industry denies this....
Oh this one is VERY interesting
