Releases two seas? Which two seas? What does that even mean? How do you "release a sea"?

Between them is a barrier? Again, what kind of barrier? Between which seas? If it's talking about some sort of land bridge, then that's hardly hidden knowledge. A dam or something? Again, wtf is so special and divine about that?

This is so vague it's ridiculous. I don't even see what it is that's supposed to be stumping me.
