And I basically threw you a bone to jump on viscously there, but the Church, while perfect in Her fullest sense, is made up of imperfect people. Just as a great team, though often winning, still experiences its slumps and times of trouble. You have to be realistic about the Church on earth.
The Catholic Church just sainted a man who was proven to know about CHILD RAPE before it was reported. It is so typically Christian 'no true scotsman' bullshit to say everything is perfect and the Church is perfect and to define everything bad out of it.
Not Buying That BullTurd.
You don't need to buy anything yet. The Church CANONIZED a man, who certainly knew that such things went on, and who likely did his best to resolve them, we don't know, you and I don't, so don't speculate. Lincoln, a pretty darn good president if you ask me, was once a lawyer and won a case for a slaveholder who was returned his "property". Now, Lincoln went on to be the greatest president we may have had, while having his faults and the nation having its as well. But in the end, it made it through. Is the Pope not a man? Does he not have faults? OF course, he goes to Confession.
