Throw something at me. I am not attacking character, just making a likely assumption based on previous observations of the people I was talking with. If I do so, please let me know, because I may not recognize that I am hurting someone, because I truly do not want to do that.

I'm not sure what you want me to throw. This was your thread in which you wanted to discuss the positive things about Catholicism, but when it was pointed out to you that atheists don't see any value in those, you asked what happened to us and why we hate this supposed creator. That is a personal attack in place of an argument that implies that we do believe in a god, but we just have some character flaw that prevents us from admitting it.

So, what exactly are looking for?

I don't know really, it was kind of a spur-of-the-moment thing. I apologize. The only reason I joined was to strengthen my apologetics "skills" and to be able to identify myself with atheist "beliefs", more like non-beliefs, and thoughts.

So where did things turn south for you guys? Was it college? A bad experience? Or have you always just had a cold hate for your Creator and all that rightfully worship Him? Do you know what I think? I think you all just want to be different, to be set apart from what you know is Truth and everything involved with it because it brings about some wild sense of pride and self-accomplishment within you. Though I am likely wrong, and you will make that clear with plenty of cussing in three minutes or so.

You condemn us for making all Catholics into one group, but then turn around and lump all atheists into a nonsensical one.

The strawman that all atheists really believe, and are just mad at your god, is just stupid, and shows your complete ignorance. It also shows that you are just a troll.

I have always been an atheist. I grew up in a very religious household, but I learned very early to think and reason above all else. There is no god. I am not mad or angry or rejecting something that doesn't exist. But you are right about one thing. When comparing myself to you, I do feel proud and accomplished.

And perhaps you are the better person, but not necessarily because of what you and I believe.
