Genus:XAustralopithecus
Species:XAustralopithecus Afarensis
Diet: Was a frugivore
Anatomy: This animal is a transitional fossil. This animal had many traits similar to humans. Its thigh bones where pointed more inside the that of a chimpanzee. It also had a hip more similar that a chimpanzee, however it was wider than that of a human. It also had toes in the shape of chimps but had a big toe more like a human, meaning that it could climb like a chimp but can still walk in a bipedal way. Despite it being bipedal it did not walk like humans.
Behavior This animal was social. There would be one Male and the rest a were females to breed. It is also said that they make stone tools.

Location: Likes to live in warm areas in gardens, orchards , and forest. Live in eastern united states and the Canadian planes in summer, and mexico, the southern part of Florida and central america in winter.

Class:Aves
Clade:Avebrevicauda
Clade
ygostylia
Clade
rnithothoraces
Clade:Euornithes
Clade
rnithurae
Clade:Carinatae
Subclass:Neoornithes
Infraclass:Neognathae
Clade:Neoaves
Clade:Metaves
unranked:Cypselomorphae
Order:Apodiformes
Family:Trochilidae
Genus:Archilochus
Species:Archilochus Colubris
Diet: This animal will eat nectar from flowers but will also eat sugar water.
Anatomy: Like all hummingbird the ruby throated humming bird has fast beating wings, up to 40-80 beats per second. Because of this evolutionary benefit they must breath fast and have a fast heart beat. They have 250 breaths per minute and 25- beats per minute while resting and 1200 beats per minute while feeding.
Behavior: The ruby throated humming bird is a fierce animal. Despite its size they are willing to fight off any animal. Ruby throated humming birds have been known to fight hornets and even the hawks and falcons that hunt them. Ruby throated humming birds are solitary and will fight with other humming birds of its species for food.
Reproduction: Males will mate with multiple females. To court females, males fly up and dive while making U shaped pattern during the dive. Females build a nest out of webs and plant parts. A female will lay 1-2 eggs. Females will take care of the young.
Interaction with other animals: Hornets and Bees are animals that rival with the Ruby throated hummingbird. They will chase these animals away from feeders and flowers that they want to eat from. They also have to deal with animals like the Red-Tailed Hawk, which are one of its predators. Humans interact with these animals by leaving out hummingbird feeders. House hold cats and dogs are one of the only animals that Ruby throated humming birds don't know how to really deal with.
