That makes no sense. Believing in a god, but not worshiping him anyway, doesn't make you an atheist. It just makes you a guy that doesn't care if the christian god is real because he's a horrible person, and you don't care if you're "sinning" or not.
An individual loses credibility in the moral department when he encourages slavery and genocide, and makes a habit of killing people for things they didn't do.
I think you've made a step in the right direction, but you have farther to go to be considered an atheist. You're a maltheist, I believe.
