POINT 1#: The Bible contains various prophecies. If a sufficient number of these prophecies is true, than it is very likely that these prophecies are what they claim to be. Some kind of supernatural or divine revelation. Either that or they are a highly unlikely and EXTREMELY lucky guess. Can we agree on this first point?
Nope. Vague prophecies can be interpreted into any way the reader wants them to. It's similar to the "prophecies" of Nostradamus. Too vague. Too easy to interpret the way you want them to be, and always applied after the events by those who accept them.
Also, according to the Jews, whose holy book the OT is, Jesus did not fulfil the prophecies of a messiah.
