But, that video is exactly what this looked like. From what I've read so far, it can cause bad damage before it disappears, even death.
You are right, there are quite a few articles written on this, and many have been seen inside homes, as I did. This is why it's important to be skeptical, and not immediately pass anything off as paranormal. But I've always known, that whatever it was, it certainly wasn't something that everyone would see or experence.
I love this, and am now re-interested (is that a word? hehe), in what I saw back then, since reading a couple articles. It does seem to occur during storms, but it wasn't even raining, much less storming that evening.
